- Battery-free versions on Oct 29, 2026: 35L $649 (B0F4DP9BKH), 45L $699 (B0GLPMH8WN), 55L $799 (B0GLPPZXXD). The battery adds $50–150 depending on size; the standalone 298 Wh battery was $174 (B0F4DZQ8QM).
- EcoFlow calls the 35L 'variable dual temperature' but lists dual-zone design for the 45L and 55L only; we treat the 35L as single zone.
- EcoFlow's freezer-mode figure is 1.8 Ah/h (520 Wh/day) at −0.4°F, same 77°F ambient.
- OutdoorGearLab's 'EcoFlow Glacier' results (51 lb, −13°F advertised, 180 W) appear to be for the original Glacier, even though OGL links this Classic listing; we don't apply those measurements here.
- EcoFlow's 45 lb net weight doesn't say whether the battery is included. The app connection type isn't stated; we list Bluetooth.

How long will a battery run the Glacier Classic 35L?
Estimated runtime on a 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery (about 90 Ah usable) with the fridge set to 37°F and the lid mostly closed. Scaled from EcoFlow's published average draw of 0.57 Ah/h.
| Outside temp | Avg draw | Per day | Runtime | Solar to break even* |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 70°F | 0.50 Ah/h | ~140 Wh | 7.5 days | ~40 W |
| 85°F | 0.72 Ah/h | ~210 Wh | 5.2 days | ~60 W |
| 100°F | 0.95 Ah/h | ~270 Wh | 3.9 days | ~70 W |
* With 5 peak sun hours and 25% system losses. Freezer settings, frequent opening and warm food all add load. Try your own battery and weather in the battery runtime calculator.
The EcoFlow GLACIER Classic 35L is a single-zone compressor fridge with a plug-in 298 Wh battery, IPX4 splash resistance and six ways to recharge. It costs about $699 on Amazon with the battery (check today’s price), and it’s the only fridge in our database whose maker publishes a fridge-mode average draw with test conditions, a low 0.57 Ah per hour. It’s a natural fit for people who already run an EcoFlow power station and want a cordless fridge that matches. Because its draw is published, the battery runtime calculator gives you a more grounded result for this model than for most others.
Who it’s for (and who should skip it)
It suits campers, boaters and van owners who care about efficiency numbers they can actually plan around, and who like having many ways to charge. EcoFlow power-station owners get the most out of it, since solar and car charging work the way they’re used to.
Skip it if you want a proven product: the bundle had only about 19 Amazon reviews averaging 3.8 stars when we checked, a small and mixed record. Skip it too if you’ll be moving it across a campsite often. It has no wheels, unlike the Anker EverFrost 2 40L. And if price matters most, the BougeRV CRD2 V2.0 43QT with battery gives you wheels, dual zones and a battery for about $270 less.
Efficiency: the published numbers
EcoFlow’s US spec table lists 0.57 Ah/h, about 165 Wh a day, with the fridge at 39°F in 77°F ambient, in Eco mode. That’s among the lowest figures for any fridge we track. Scaled to a hotter 90°F day with the fridge at 37°F, our estimate rises to about 230 Wh a day. That’s still frugal for 37 quarts.
Freezing is a different story. EcoFlow lists 1.8 Ah/h, about 520 Wh a day, with the box at −0.4°F in the same 77°F ambient. That’s roughly three times the fridge-mode figure, so run it as a freezer only when you have vehicle or solar power to back it up. Our explainer on portable fridge power consumption covers why freezing costs so much more.
A note on independent testing: OutdoorGearLab links this listing, but its “EcoFlow Glacier” measurements appear to come from the original Glacier, a different and heavier fridge. We don’t apply those results to the Classic.
Battery, charging and runtime
EcoFlow claims up to 43 hours at 39°F on the 298 Wh battery, and its published draw supports that in mild weather. On a 90°F day we’d expect closer to 28 hours. In freezer mode, the battery lasts roughly half a day.
Charging options are the Glacier Classic’s other strength. EcoFlow advertises six ways to charge, including a 12/24 V car input (100 W max), a 95 W AC adapter, solar from 11–30 V up to 110 W, USB-C and alternator charging. Replacing about 230 Wh a day takes roughly 60 W of panel at five peak sun hours, so a 100 W portable panel covers fridge use in good sun. Our guide on solar panel size for a 12V fridge adds a margin for cloudy days.
A spare 298 Wh battery costs about $174 if you want two days of cordless freezer use or longer stretches off-grid.
Size, noise and weather resistance
EcoFlow lists a 45 lb net weight, but doesn’t say whether that includes the battery. Either way it’s heavy for 37 quarts, and without wheels you’ll carry it by the handles. The box measures 27.8 × 15.8 × 15.9 in, a bit lower than many rivals, which helps under a tonneau cover or in a car trunk.
EcoFlow rates it under 38.5 dB and IPX4 splash resistant, which counts for a fridge on a boat deck or an open tailgate in the rain. The app connection type isn’t stated; we list it as Bluetooth.
Reliability and warranty
EcoFlow covers it for 2 years, less than Anker’s 5. The small, mixed review record means there isn’t enough owner data yet to judge long-term reliability. Battery protection settings aren’t stated, which matters less here since the fridge usually runs on its own battery.
Sizes
The Glacier Classic also comes in 45L Dual Zone (about $849 with battery) and 55L Dual Zone (about $899 with battery). If you want fridge and freezer at the same time, those are the sizes to consider; the 35L is single zone.
Bottom line
The Glacier Classic 35L has the best published efficiency numbers of the battery fridges we track and the most flexible charging, which makes it a natural add-on for an EcoFlow owner. Its Amazon reviews are few and mixed, it has no wheels, and the warranty is shorter than Anker’s. Most buyers looking for a cordless fridge should start with the better-proven Anker EverFrost 2 or the cheaper BougeRV bundle. Our Anker EverFrost 2 vs EcoFlow Glacier Classic comparison goes through the decision.
